UNESCO-ETCUBE-IUPAP Bootcamp in Fiji Nov 17-21,2025

A five-day regional bootcamp on entrepreneurship was organised in the Fijian city of Nadi by UNESCO during Nov 17-21, 2025 in partnership with ET Cube International and the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP).  34 participants were selected from 215 applications from university students, lecturers and practitioners from around the Pacific to attend the one-week bootcamp. Most of the participants had background in physics, maths, engineering and information technology and all are under the age of 35 years. They all shared a passion for developing innovative 'green' solutions for the Pacific, such as to tackle energy, water and digital insecurity.  27 participants from 7 countries – Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu attended the bootcamp.
